The CWGC WWI Tincourt New British Cemetery near Tincourt-Boucly in the Somme region of norther France
WWI Tincourt New British Cemetery is located on what was the Somme Battlefield near Peronne. The cemetery was used by both the British and the Germans as a medical casualty clearing station. The cemetery was overrun during the German Spring Offensive of March 1918 when many graves were lost. The cemetery returned to British hands during the Advance to victory in October 1918. The cemetery has 2139 burials.
