This fine new Snow-drop was introduced recently from the mountains ofSmyrna. It is three times as large and fine as the com-mon variety, and a great acquisition, either for the gar-den or for pots. Their long, wiry stems fit them admirablyfor cutting, and for latespring bedding they have few equals,blooming, as they do, so freely, and bridging over the gapbetween the Tulips and the early garden flowers. For thispurpose plant them three orfour inches apart and two inchesdeep, with the claws downward.
