MEDITERRANEAN SEA (May 4, 2017) - A helicopter assigned to Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 46, Det. 1, lifts off from the flight deck of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Oscar Austin (DDG 79) during flight operations May 4, 2017. Oscar Austin is on a routine deployment supporting national security interests in Europe, and increasing theatre security cooperation and forward naval presence in the 6th Fleet area of operations.
