Mr. Mann lived with his parents till 1843,when he built the -house where he now lives. , 1842, he married Lavina, daughter of Peter andElizabeth (Putnam) Grove, of Girard. Mrs. emigrateil from Herkimer Co., N. Y., toWestern New York, and from there to Michigan, inthe winter of 1835-36, passing through Canada witha sleigh, and settling near Orangeville.
