Emperor Charles I (1887 - 1922) - a patent of nobility dated 13 April 1917 Elevation to nobility of Sebastian Hammerschmid, 1st lieutenant of the 4th Train Division. Four parchment sheets (each with cover sheet), both sides with coloured calligraphy and gold embellishment, depicting the aristocratic coat of arms painted in colour, with signature "Karl" in ink at the end. In an embossed folder of brown leather with elaborate gilt applications in relief, the corner fields set with almandines. Attached in a metal skippet the imperial wax seal.
