It is the moft natural fuppofitionthat Browne, fuller of fame than years, would return to theplace of his nativity to draw his laft breath, and to lie amonghis anceftors. But it feems to be^ fufpicious that the entry atTaviftock is unaccompanied by any indication that the perfoninterred there on the 27th March, 1643, ^^^ of gentle birth.
