Recruits with India Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, sit in columns during the Water Survival Basic Qualification at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, March 27. The qualification is designed to prepare recruits for potential scenarios they may encounter in their careers. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. India Company is scheduled to graduate May 25.
