Besides, its bottom is flat, whilstthat of our Trojan owl-vase is convex. 2 This owl-headed cover belongs to the thirdor burnt city; but not so the vase, which wasfound in the ruins of the fourth city. The head was found separate, and doesnot belong to this particular vase. I only put it here in order to save it.
