It was during this periodthat he composed the paraphrase, Our Father, God,who art in heaven, which is said to be comprisedin fewer words even than the original Greek. He wasa scholar and linguist, having translated the Bible intoBurmese, and constructed a Burmese and EnglishDictionary.
