Army Soldiers, assigned to 2nd Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, and Soldiers of the Polish contingent, conduct kettle bell swings as part of the first Staff Sgt. Michael H. Ollis Memorial Workout of the Day, at Union III forward operating base, Baghdad, Iraq, Aug. 28, 2022. Ollis, stepped into the path of an insurgent detonating a suicide vest, shielding Polish Lt. Cierpica from the blast, during an attack on forward operating base Ghazni, Aug. 28, 2013. Ollis was posthumously awarded the Distinguish Service Cross for his heroic action.
