The Blessed Virgin Mary Church, in the village of Donyatt in Somerset, a small village that dates back beyond the year 725 The church is consists of a four-cell pattern with a square battlemented tower and is a 15th century Anglican church built to replace the older manor church within the parish. The older church has a record of a Rector dating back to 1255. Mentioned in the Doomsday Book, the village is about 5 miles north of the town of Chard.
