Too much cannot be said in praise of this grand Carnation. The color is exquisite, a charming shade of flesh pink. It was this delicate shade which suggested its name of ' Daybreak,' because of the similarity to the first faint tinge of pink seen in the eastern sky at sunrise. ' Daybreak ' became so popular among flower lovers that the blooms readily sold for more than any other variety in the New York market the past season. The growth of the plant is vigorous and healthy and the flowers possess the Carnation fragrance in a marked degree. Price, 20c. each, $ per doz. CARNATIONS-ln Variety. The great improvement made in this grand race the past few years has directed popular attention to them, until now they are perhaps exceeded by the Rose alone in the number annually grown for cut flowers.
