Around 12,000 Syrian refugees living in Turkey have crossed the border to visit their hometowns and see relatives in Syria for the the Eid Al-Adha, or Feast of Sacrifice. They have travelled to Syria through the Bab al-Hawa international border crossing, which is controlled by the Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham militant group. The Turkish government is giving Syrian refugees the right to return to Turkey if they want to go to Syria to celebrate the Holy Muslim Holiday. Some 3 million Syrian migrants are currently living in Turkey after escaping from the civil war in their country
