Spain, La Rioja: Medieval books of the "Cantes Gregorianos" in the Monastery of Yuso


The monastery of Yuso is situated only two kilometers side by side with the older monastery of Suso in the Valley of San Millan de la Cogolla in norther spanish La Rioja. The two monasteries are UNESCO World Heritage Sites and Suso were written the first phrases in Castilian and Basque language. Yuso was founded in 1067 and guards one of the four complete collections of the "Cantes Gregorianos" in Spain.
