A parade was held in Woolton Liverpool today to mark the day 60 years ago at the St. Peter's church fete that brought John Lennon and Paul McCartney together to form the Beatles. John Lennon's original band The Quarrymen took a ride round the village on a local lorry and today surviving members of the group recreated the drive with original lorry driver Dougie Chadwick at the wheel.
