Old wagon remains at the Bendigo Historic Reserve in Central Otago, New Zealand. Gold was discovered here in 1862. It had a chequered history until the Cromwell Quartz Mining Company began mining in 1869 and was, initially, very successful. The reserve comprises of Bendigo, Logantown and Welshtown. The area contains walks, interpretive panelsand assorted mining remains, including shafts, battery relics and some wooden carts.
