Fake hair is a huge market in Africa with most girls and women opting to fit or refit hair every two to three weeks. For shops like this one business is booming. Basic synthetic hair braids and weaves go for between $3 and $20. Real human hair starts and $50 for a small or short bundle and at the most extreme end can fetch up to $2,000 for a full head of long hair.
