A fleet of American classic convertible cars draw up to take tourists, staying at the 1930 built Hotel Nacional de Cuba (Hotel National of Cuba), on a city tour around Havana in Cuba. Many of the eye-catching convertible classic American car taxis (taxis particulares) seen in and around the streets, are very popular with tourists and also used for promotions. To keep these cars maintained, car parts are often cannibalized from other makes of cars due to the American trade embargo. Some parts are even handmade.
