Cabbage White Butterflies settling on cabbage leaves on which to lay their eggs.
As if it was not enough we are over populated with these pests, in August this year (2009) while sailing a few miles off the Lincolnshire coast I watched as large white cabbage white butterflies were crossing the North Sea and heading for the UK coast. There was just one butterfly in original pic but I have added two more as seen on the day but of course it is impossible to get focus on three butterflies at once.
