The Annual Meeting (and election of officers) of our College was much better and more enthusiastically attended than in previous years, and the brilliant staff of ofiicers elected bodes well for the en- suing year. At the conclusion of the election the retiring President, Samuel W. Fairchild, was presented with a beautiful bronze figure mounted on a solid marble pedestal (five feet high in all) as an appreciation of the wonder- ful and indefatigable work he had done for our College.
