Rarely, how-ever, are they abundantenough to do serious in-jury, and as against bothcleanliness will go far,while bisulphide of carbonwill readily destroy the larvae. As against the clover-hayworm, nothing is better than to feed up clean from year to put new hay upon old, and if stacked outside, lay uponrails so as to get ventilation underneath.
