Head and thorax black with a purplish-grey gloss; tegulsB with black medial lino; tarsi ringed with white; abdomen fuscous brown tirij;ed with grey and with some whitish hair at base. Fore wing black sufl'used with purplish grey and slightly irrorated with white, cbieHy on the veins wliich are slightly darker; a double dentate subbasiil line from costa to submedian fold; a double waved antemedial line ; claviform moderate, dttined by black; orbicular and rcniform defined by black ; the former oblique elliptical, the latter with more or less developed ochreous point* on its outer edge; an irregularly waved indistinct medial line oblique.
