Lands End, (Penn an Wlas or Pedn an Wlas in Cornish) Cornwall, England. The first and last house in England pictured just after the end of WWII. The former granite built cottage at the most south-westerly point of mainland Britain is said to to have been built in the early 1800s, though others believe built in some form as early as the 17th century. A known inhabitant (1800's) was Gracie Thomas. Additional buildings have been added over the years.
