Palazzo Doria-Tursi, or Palazzo Niccolò Grimaldi, is located in via Garibaldi and is included in the list of the 42 palaces of the Rolli. Giuseppe Mazzini, an Italian politician, journalist and activist for the unification of Italy, was bors in Genoa in 1805. The statue of Giuseppe Mazzini is the work of the Genoese sculptore Santo Saccomanno (1833-1914).
