Gibraltar - 25th March 2015 - Pictured leaders from Spanish unions Comissiones Obreras and UGT (front left) after speaking to the Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo and Unite General Secretary Len McCluskey prior to the opening of the newly refurbished Unite offices in Gibraltar. Len McCluskey General Secretary of Unite Union (pictured) in the UK visited Gibraltar today to officially open the newly refurbished Unite Gibraltar Transport House Offices. In attendance at an official opening ceremony was the Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo. Also attending were leaders from Commisiones Obreras and UGT, two leading Spanish unions who were thanked for their support and attendance. McCluskey highlighted how the presence of the Spanish unions contrasted with the policies against Gibraltar by the Spanish Government and thanked them for working with Unite Gibraltar to counter Spanish policies such as the delays on workers crossing the border.
