Signs throughout the building refer to Florida state road A1A, where the restaurant is located. The road runs along the Atlantic Ocean, from Key West to Fernandina Beach, Florida. The historic highway, which is more than 338 miles long, is a designated National Scenic Byway and holds an important place in Florida beach culture.
