Erythema annulare centrifugum


Erythema annulare centrifugum (EAC) on a patient's skin. Also known as gyrate erythema and erythema perstans, this red ring-like lesion usually appears on the thighs and legs, and has no specific cause. It is not contagious and there is no specific treatment, but a topical steroid cream may be prescribed for itchiness.
