Pvt. Lubbe captured a camouflaged German gun during World War One. On October 18, 1918, Secretary of War Newton D. Baker brought the captured gun from France to the Treasury Building in Washington, The gun was displayed there to help sell Liberty Bonds. This image was taken on October 22, 1918. (Notes: 023083)
