The most important points which they showmay be summarized as follows: 1. Fractures in the lower half of the patella are the mostfrequent, 83 per cent. 2. Triangular shaped patellae are the most common; obliqueshaped patellae come next. 3. Transverse fractures are the most frequent; comminutedfractures come next. 4. Three males fracture their patella to one female. 5. Fractures of the right patella are a little more frequentthan of the left. 6. TwO underwent operation to every one which did no
