PACIFIC OCEAN (Nov. 12, 2016) – Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Sampson (DDG 102) sailors Ens. Marianne Estrada, from Las Vegas, Nev., left, and Petty officer 3rd Class Brian Duhamel, from Palm Harbor, Fla., right, receive a tour of the ship engine space from Royal New Zealand Navy Sailors aboard Her Majesty’s New Zealand Ship Endeavour. Sampson will report to Third Fleet, headquartered in San Diego, while deployed to the Western Pacific as part of the Pacific Fleet-led initiative to extend the command and control functions of Third Fleet into the region.
