Denham, Buckinghamshire, UK. 4th September, 2020. Numerous lorries carrying equipment to the HS2 sites are on the roads. Construction work continues on the controversial HS2 High Speed Rail link from London to Birmingham off the A412 North Orbital. Huge swathes of the countryside have been bought by HS2 Ltd under compulsory purchase orders. The controversial railway line puts 693 local wildlife sites and 108 ancient woodlands at risk of destruction along the path of the new railway. Felling of trees has already started in Denham.
