Tropical Pacific Rain
The Pineapple Express brought several inches rain across the Pacific from Hawaii to southern California,as seen by the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) on the Suomi NPP satellite on February 20,2017. After five years of drought,so much rain at once caused floods and landslides.
