Genus MEGALOEOSIA, nov. Type, M. recurviloba. Proboscis fully developed; palpi upturned, slender, reaching' to about middle of frons; antennas of male ciliated; tibiaj with the spurs long. Fore wing long and narrow, the apex rounded, the termen evenly curved, the inner margin arched near base then somewhat excised to tornus, the costa of male with very large lobe recurved over upperside to near inner margin and extending from near base to well beyond middle, and a patch of androconia on underside at lower angle of cell; the cell short; vein 2 from near angle of cell; 3, 4 from angle; 5 absent; 6 from upper angle ; 7, 8, 9 stalked, 7 from beyond 9 ; 10, 11 from cell ; 12 curved up to the lobe. Hind wing ample, the costa arched, then excised at apex; vein 2 from middle of cell ; 3, 4 stalked ; 5 from above angle ; 6, 7 coincident; 8 from middle of cell and bent downwards towards extremity.
