Ananda temple at sunset, Old Bagan, Myanmar

The cruciform-shaped Ananda temple in old Bagan is one of four surviving Buddhist temples. It dates back to the time of King Kyanzittha in 1105 BC. Its amazing stone architecture is a fusion of Mon Burmese and Indian.
