. This is a figure from the article 'The Abrolhos Tragedy', which appeared in The Western Mail, Christmas Edition, 24 December 1897, Page 5. Its caption states that it was 'reproduced from Hughes' Atlas'. 'Hughes' refers to William Hughes (1817–1876). It is not known which work 'Atlas' refers to, as Hughes had a hand in many.
