MONONGALIA COUNTY GROUP In tlif spring of 1908 a movement for the organiza-tion of the various counties and chilis of the school wasstarted. The Monongalia students met and elected the regular set of officers and made theorganization permanent. Each spring the presidentwrites an open letter to the papers of his county statingthe reasons that the young people wishing to prepare forteaching should attend the State Normal at Fairmont. The purpose of the organization is to keep in touchwith all students from Monongalia county that have beenin school previously; to correspond with the young menand women that are thinking of attending school; tohelp any students from Monongalia County in gettingrooming and hoard and to help in arranging their officers for the coming year are: N.
