Mid-19th century tourists climbing the Great Pyramid of Giza with the aid of local guides. The Great Pyramid of Giza, sometimes called the Pyramid of Khufu or the Pyramid of Cheops, the largest of the Giza pyramid complex at Giza, outside Cairo, Egypt. The Giza Pyramid Complex is now part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is currently illegal to climb the pyramid. The picture was taken by French photographer Henri Bechard.
