A Colt model 1900 automatic pistol, rimless, no. 254. Bright bore, barrel length 6". 7-shot. Manufactured in 1900. Contrast front sight with copper inlay. Early standard inscription on both sides of slide. Finish partially thin and shady, more so on handle. Colour case hardened hammer. Flawless black hard rubber grip panels with "COLT" and rampant colt. Correct nickel-plated magazine marked "Pat'd ". A very rare and early collector's pistol from a total manufacture of only 3500 weapons (from 1900 - 1903). Good to very good overall condition. ,
