Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a gram-negative rod bacteria found in soil, water, skin flora, surfaces of plants, and most man-made environments. P. aeruginosa infections can occur in many different places of the body and the bacteria usually infects compromised tissue. P. aeruginosa is a problem in hospitals and can be fatal if critical organs are infected. Magnification: 500x.
