Fig. Method of making reverses. The reverse should be completed before the bandage iscarried around the limb, and when it has been completedthe bandage may be slightly tightened so as to conform tothe part accurately. The reverses should be in line to have the bandagepresent a good appearance, and care should be taken thatthe reverses should not be made over salient parts of theskeleton, for if they occupy such positions they causecreases in the skin and become uncomfortable to thepatient. To make reverses neatly and to have them in linerequires skill and practice; a Avell-applied spiral reversedbandage is a test of a competent bandager. Spica Bandages.
