From this we learn: first,that this was undoubtedly the first church erected bythe congregations, since in a previous item PhilipHeinrich Rapp calls himself the first pastor of thecongregation; .second, that the first church was also aunion church; third, that the name of the first church,as well as of the present, was Christ Church ; fourth,that the name of the township at that time
