Air Force Staff Sgt. Tyler Huff, 38th Rescue Squadron pararescueman, treads water after landing in the Banana River near Patrick Space Force Base, Florida, Aug. 24, 2021. The training was designed to prepare pararescuemen for supporting the SpaceX human spaceflight program and Boeing’s spaceflight program. The 38th RQS team will receive additional training at Cape Canaveral to familiarize themselves with the layout of the capsule attached to the SpaceX and Boeing rockets so they can recover downed personnel in the event of a launch mishap.
