On April 16th, more than 5,000 students from more than 100 universities and middle schools held a ceremony to celebrate their achievements on the Tianchan stage. Guo Moruo delivered a speech at the meeting, putting forward the slogan of "oppose civil war and strive for peace". Guo was a Chinese author, poet, historian, archaeologist, and government official. Feng Wenbin, Secretary of the Youth Committee of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, accompanied by the person in charge of the Academic Committee, secretly visited the venue to observe.
