Ferdinand Liebermann (1883 - 1941) - The Fight., Small bronze sculpture, study for the Munich Freikorps monument on Giesinger Berg. Plinth signed on the reverse side with "Liebermann". Height 35,5 cm. In May 1942 Liebermann's Freikorps monument was unveiled at Giesinger Berg by Reichsstatthalter ( Governour) Ritter von Epp and Lord Mayor Reichsleiter Fiehler. The study offered here was made in 1939/40 and was displayed at the Great German Art Exhibition in Munich, 1941.
