The Central Market was built in 1937 and is a masterpiece of Art Deco design - perhaps one of the finest examples of this era in Southeast Asia. Psah Thmay in Cambodian called Psar Thmei - "New Market” It was recently fully renovated and repainted in its original egg-yolk yellow. You can find everything here from fresh slaughtered chickens to expensive gemstones.
