"Mameluke" sword, the blade etched on both sides of the forte (with the Argentine coat of arms), no maker´s mark. Matt gilt hilt with chequered, black lacquered wooden grip scales (a few small chippings), attached to it a dark red tassel. Also a black, coarsely lacquered sheet steel scabbard with matt gilt mounts decorated in relief and two movable suspension rings. Signs of age.
