. NIBELUNGENHORT. This is another distinct introduction which is always greatly admired, with flowers from 7 to 8 inches across, composed of rather broad, more or less curled and twisted-petals of a beau- tiful shade of old-rose with golden-apricot suffusion. Very free- flowering on long stems; a fine cut flower. Roots, 75 cts. each. Colossal Cactus Dahlia Etendard de Lyon RHEINKOENIG. There are so many good white Cactus Dahlias that we could not single out any one individual variety as the best; all have distinctive qualifications of their own which make them valu- able; however in recommending Rheinkoenig to the amateur who has room for but one white variety we do so knowing that he will not be dissapointed in planting it either for garden decora- tion or for cutting. Its flowers which are over five inches in diameter are of splendid form, and are borne on long stiff stems held well above the foliage, and are of great substance, lasting well when cut. Roots, 35 cts. each; $ per doz. WALKUERE. Everybody who has flowered Walkuere has been pleased with its large handsome flowers, which are refined in form and gen- eral make-up. In color it is one of those peculiar yet pleasing combinations of colors difficult to describe; the ground color is a sulphur yellow, which as the flower matures, deepens to a luminous golden-yellow at the centre, the entire flower being suffused with cinnabar-red, distinct and novel. Plants ready April 25th. 75 cts. each. WODAN. Bold, large, but not coarse flower, frequently 7 inches in di- ameter; a graceful arrangement of semi-incurved tubular petals of a pleasing, delicate salmon-rose color, shading to old-gold in the centre. Roots, 35 cts. each; $ per doz. WOLFGANG von GOETHE. A very large flower, of loose but regular and graceful arrange- ment that makes it an ideal cut-flower, its color a rich apricot with carmine suffusion and shadings, is bright, yet subdued and soft, showing up par'icularly well under artificial light.
