The front of the Gaiety Theatre, Douglas, Isle of Man. Built in 1899 as an Opera House and Theatre, to a design by Frank Matcham, on a site of a former pavilion. It was opened in 1900. Restoration on the delapidated building started in 1976 and opened in time for the centenary celebrations
