This wing, accom-modating IS additional patients was completed in November of 1971and named in honor of Judge and Mrs. William York, of Greensboro,Jie and Mrs. York gave $30, for the construction of this newwing, and the additional money needed was raised by the Trusteesof the Homes. With this new addition, the Baptist Homes have beenable to receive some few persons, on a limited basis only, directly aspatients. The majority of the beds in the Nursing Care Unit are usedfor the residents of the five Homes, when nursing care becomes neces-sary. We are glad that the base of our operation has been broadenedto include a ministry to the aging sick person, and we can only hopethat we will move forward and be able to receive more patients in theyears ahead.
