Pale grey ; palpi black ; mesothorax, ends of patagia, tibiae and tarsi with black spots ; abdomen tinged with fuscous, the aual tut't grey. Fore wing with black spot at base of costa, w^ith line from it to submedian fold, angled on median nervure ; a triangular spot on costa before middle with a line from just below it to vein 1, strongly incurved below the cell; a spot at middle of cell; a medial line angled outwards on sub- costal and median nervures and inwards below the cell; a discoidal spot; the post- medial line minutely den- tate, angled at veins 6 and 4, bent inwards below vein 2 and with some fuscous ¥\'pTobanis,S. \. suffusion between it and (From Moths Ind. vol. ii.) the medial line on inner area; a dentate line be- yond it from costa to vein 2, more strongly angled at vein 6 and often indistinct; a terminal series of points. Hind wing fuscous, whitish towards base ; an indistinct discoidal spot and sinuous postmedial line more prominent on underside; cilia whitish. The form from Dharmstila and Bombay is rather whiter than the Ceylon form. Hah.
